I am running (and enjoying) some of the new tracks that have recently been offered on here but am running into an issue with the fuel settings. For example, when I run the Zolder or Long Beach tracks the system only "consumes" .7-.8 gallons per lap. Is this a setting in Magic Data? Also, is this affected only by track length or other factors such as car setups? If a track has a MG fuel setting 0f 7000, do I raise that number to get the fuel capacity/consumption right or lower that number? These new tracks are great, by the way!

64 bit advantages? (no replies)
My old XP keeps getting corruption issues so I am going to bite the bullet and upgrade to Windows 7. Should I stick with the 32 bit version or opt for the 64 bit and/or are there any advantages with GP4 of using 64 bit. By the way, I know there have been forum threads regarding this before but the search finds nothing under the words 64 bit or 32 bit(?). Thanks for the help.

This is just a personal feeling and whilst I appreciate that others may not agree I just have to ask the question.
.......... Dont you just feel that racing cars ( Open Wheelers ) are getting uglier and uglier?
I just dont like these new breed of F1 cars. To be sure they have this futuristic look and that is kind of attractive but from a pure racing point of view? I find the designs far too busy there are just no clean lines.
Then you go to Indy .. well, I just cant figure it. What the hell is going on there? They just look like glorified Soap box carts. I used to really love Indy cars but now I dont even recognise them.
As for Formula E? Well Im sorry but thats not even something I consider watching .............
Seems the only really clean looking open wheelers are the lower Formulas and Champ cars.:(

White cars in orginal cars.wad (10 replies)
Hi,
I've reinstalled GP4, but now have the following problem, even in the original cars.wad the Ferrari is white and in other cars, the suspension / cockpit is white. I have my confiq. think correctly adjusted but can not explain the problem to me.
Graphic is on high
GPxPatch and Decrypted exe are installed

i need help to solve a track problem, please (9 replies)
i have a slightly strange problem with a track from the trackpack 2006. I've installed the mod 2006 and the trackpack 2006 from gp4db and it works correct so far. There are two profiles for the trackpack, 2006a and 2006b. For the 17 tracks of the 2006a profile everything is fine, but if i choose the 2006b profile with the 18th track Interlagos in tsm, there is no track displayed for Interlagos in gp4, the line is empty as you can see on the pic below. For the profile 2006b there is only Interlagos in the first slot, all other slots are empty, could this cause the problem?. It would be great, if someone can help me to solve it

Steering Wheel with FFB
I use to drive a F430 FFB Sterring wheel without the Feedback. Of course, when I dont use FFB I must get some steering Help 19% or less. Turning the FFB and Steering Help(F8) off at same time, its impossible to drive.
If I have the FFB on, i dont need steering help. But the feedback seams to be too strong, even with 1% factor.
Iam driving now 1980mod. My question is: Had the cars really so much Feedback? And is there a way to decrease more the FFB?

Hello from an old F1 gamer it's been a while since I last typed a topic.
I'm trying to update the cars.wad and all the tracks, correct me if I'm wrong but I require wad updater from ZAZ tools? Well if yes I'm using 1 I saved years ago and a fresh download, however...my virus and mareware wont let me download it? false positive I guess and changing my home page (Web). Can anyone shed a light on this please?

Hi , guys, sorry late, I was sick in the lasts weeks,

More years added,with some improvements to some carshapes and graphics stuffs and visors...
